As the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic continues to force people apart, Global Citizen is using the power of music and advocacy to bring people together with One World: Together At Home.

 

Announced on April 6, One World: Together At Home is a global special curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga, premiering Saturday, April 18, in celebration and support of health care workers and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

It will include appearances and performances by today’s most notable entertainers — and on Tuesday, the organization released a new list of participants, including Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Camila Cabello, Céline Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Pharrell Williams, the Rolling Stones, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Usher, Victoria Beckham, and more.

 

The special event will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Stephen Colbert of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Friends from Sesame Street will also add to the incredible lineup.

 

One World: Together At Home will be broadcast on Saturday at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT, appearing on ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, The CW, iHeartMedia, and Bell Media networks and platforms in Canada. Internationally, BBC One will run the program in the UK on Sunday, April 19, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. BST. Some of New Jersey's biggest stars will join together live on Wednesday, April 22 at 7pm ET to bring some entertainment into everyone's homes while raising money to help fight the coronavirus epidemic. The hour long special will also honor healthcare workers, first responders, other essential employees and help to remind everyone the steps we all should be taking to help fight this pandemic.

‘All Together Now!,’ an All-Star Concert Event Benefiting the L.A. Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund

On Saturday, April 25, Rock Cellar Productions (in association with the Get Together Foundation) will put on the All Together Now!, an online concert event helping the city of Los Angeles — specifically its L.A. Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund — during the ongoing pandemic.

The concert is set to be a major and significant relief effort to help Angelenos cope with the severe restrictions imposed on everyone during this dangerous and uncertain time of the novel coronavirus crisis.

Keeping with the strict “stay at home” regulations of health authorities and the guidance of local, state, and federal government officials, this virtual once-in-a-lifetime streaming event will give fans their music fix in the comfort of their own homes. Post Malone announces Nirvana tribute fundraiser for COVID-19 relief

 

In the midst of a lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Post Malone has revealed his plans to host a Nirvana tribute show livestream on April 24.

 

The Sunflower hit-maker took to Instagram announcing the show on Wednesday morning, revealing that it would be broadcast via YouTube this Friday at 6 p.m ET.

 

Malone, 24, also attached a mysterious phone number — 817-270-6440 — to the post, inviting fans and followers to text him ahead of the fundraiser.

 

The tribute is intended to raise money for the World Health Organization‘s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, according to Rolling Stone. Additionally, Google will reportedly match all donations made up to US$5 million.

Genesis will stream 1987's Live At Wembley Stadium today at 8pm BST/2pm EDT as part of their Genesis Film festival which is streaming full live performances form the band during lockdown via the band's You Tube Channel.

 

Live At Wembley Stadium was recorded during the band's celebrated four-night run at the famous London stadium at the culmination of the band's massively successful Invisible Touch tour in July 1987.

Dua Lipa Set to Co-Host 2020 iHeartRadio Prom For Seniors Graduating During Quarantine

 

iHeartRadio is throwing a virtual prom! On Thursday (April 30), the radio giant announced that Dua Lipa and 102.7 KIIS FM's JoJo Wright will co-host the 2020 iHeartRadio Prom for high school students across the country missing out on their big dance due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

 

"Prom is such a significant milestone for high school students across the country,” Wright said of the event in a statement. “Through the power of radio, we are excited to bring prom to the to the safety of our listeners living rooms, with some of the biggest names in music performing for the special occasion.

 

Streaming May 8 at 8:00 p.m. local time across iHeartRadio stations nationwide, the on-air dance party is set to include custom celebrity DJ mixes by the likes of Marshmello, Diplo, Will.i.am and Martin Garrix, as well as special for the Class of 2020 from John Legend, AJ Mitchell, Noah Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter and more.

 

Lewis Capaldi will also perform his hit 2019 ballad "Before You Go" during the four-hour event as attendees' first slow dance of the night.

Robin Hood And iHeartMedia Present "Rise Up New York!" Relief Benefit Hosted By Tina Fey To Support New Yorkers Impacted By COVID-19

 

Robin Hood, New York's largest poverty-fighting organization, and iHeartMedia will join together with New York television and radio stations to air a citywide "virtual telethon" on Monday, May 11 at 7 PM ET to raise awareness and funds to help New Yorkers whose lives have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19. The show will bring together New York City's biggest musicians, actors, chefs and more with one common goal: To raise funds for Robin Hood's relief and recovery efforts, deployed directly to the organizations on the frontlines that serve the city's most vulnerable during the current crisis and its aftermath. 100 percent of donations will provide support for food, shelter, cash assistance, health and mental health, legal services, education and more – helping fellow New Yorkers rebuild their lives as the city moves towards recovery and beyond.

 

The one-hour benefit special will be hosted by Tina Fey and simultaneously broadcast on all New York City TV stations, iHeartMedia and Entercom broadcast radio stations, News 12, Spectrum News NY1, SiriusXM and nationally on CNBC (complete list of stations below). Rise Up New York! is executively produced by Alex Coletti Productions and John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia, along with talent producers Casey Patterson and Rick Krim.
