Janko Nilovic and Mad Unity – Manneken-Pis Rock. Dit nummer is afkomstig van de lp Funky Tramway, die in 1975 op het Omega label uitkwam. Het nummer Manneken-Pis Rock is een compositie van Janko Nilovic, in 1941 geboren in Turkije met een vader afkomstig uit Montenegro en een Griekse moeder. Helemaal internationaal werd het na de verhuizing in 1960 naar Frankrijk. Tientallen lp’s, vooral met productiemuziek op het MPRecords label heeft de man gecomponeerd en geproduceerd. Manneken-Pis Rock werd in juni 1976 door Joop Verhoof gebruikt om zijn programma op Radio Mi Amigo af te sluiten.
Janko Nilovic and Mad Unity - Manneken-Pis Rock. This song is from the album Funky Tramway, which was released on the Omega label in 1975. The song Manneken-Pis Rock is a composition of Janko Nilovic, born in Turkey in 1941 with a father from Montenegro and a Greek mother. It became totally international after moving to France in 1960. The man has composed and produced dozens of LPs, mostly with production music on the MPRecords label. Manneken-Pis Rock was used by Joop Verhoof in June 1976 to close his programme on Radio Mi Amigo.

San Remo Strings – Festival Time. Deze formatie, afkomstig uit Detroit, ging eerst door het leven als de San Remo Golden Strings. Eén van de huisorkestjes van Tamla Motown. In 1971 kwam het nummer Festival Time uit dat door Peter van Dam in december 1976 werd gebruikt om een prijsvraag te promoten op Radio Mi Amigo. Luisteraars werden opgeroepen om de nummer 1 van de top 100 over het jaar 1976 te raden. Op 31 december zou de uitslag en prijswinnaars bekend worden gemaakt.
San Remo Strings - Festival Time. This formation, from Detroit, first went through life as the San Remo Golden Strings. One of the house orchestras of Tamla Motown. In 1971 the song Festival Time was released, which was used by Peter van Dam in December 1976 to promote a competition on Radio Mi Amigo. Listeners were asked to guess the number 1 in the top 100 of the year 1976. On 31 December the results and prize winners would be announced.

Leilani Beach Group, the = Tahiti Surfing. Het nummer van deze Duitse formatie kwam in 1973 uit op de lp Blue Hawaii. Na een paar seconden in het nummer is er, voor de toenmalige luisteraars van Radio Mi Amigo, een wel overbekend deuntje te horen. Het nummer Tahiti Surfing werd namelijk door Norbert op Radio Mi Amigo in 1974 gebruikt voor een promo: “Wie gaat er mee op reis met Radio Mi Amigo Internationaal? Radio Mi Amigo gaat op reis naar Hawaii, Tickets voor 17 dagen maar voor 2208 gulden of 34.000 Bfr en we vertrekken al op 22 oktober….” Een reis waarvoor informatie kon worden ingewonnen bij Continental Travel op Rotterdam Airport.

Space Art – Onyx. Space Art was een Frans duo dat tussen 1977 en 1981 3 lp’s op de markt bracht met elektronische muziek en bestond uit Dominique Perrier en Roger Rizzitelli. Onyx komt van de gelijknamige eerste lp van Space Art. Het is zo’n typisch deuntje dat blijft hangen bij herhaald horen. In dit geval werd het nummer gebruikt op Radio Mi Amigo bij een spot voor een van de belangrijkste adverteerders: ‘Wie kan Uw huis volledig inrichten met luxe meubelen voor minder dan 25.000 BFr?’ Juist, Vermeer Thijs en Zonen aan de Boerenkrijglaan te Westerlo.
Space Art - Onyx. Space Art was a French duo that released three albums of electronic music between 1977 and 1981 and consisted of Dominique Perrier and Roger Rizzitelli. Onyx comes from the first album of the same name by Space Art. It is one of those typical tunes that lingers on repeated listening. In this case, the song was used on Radio Mi Amigo for a spot for one of the most important advertisers: 'Who can completely furnish your house with luxury furniture for less than 25,000 BFr? Right, Vermeer Thijs en Zonen at the Boerenkrijglaan in Westerlo.
