Vandaag al weer 46 jaar geleden, en nog steeds luisteren we (d.w.z. de zeezenderfreaks) naar die oude programma's... Het is zoals Paul de Haan schreef, niet dat ze zo geweldig zijn of dat we uit ons dak gaan van de muziek, nee, gewoon om ons weer even "het gevoel van die tijd" te geven. En daar is niks mis mee.....

Tien Januari 1980, samen met mijn echtgenote was het 10 dagen geleden dat we de sleutels kregen van ons eerste flatje en waren we druk aan het schilderen, behangen, naar meubelzaken om inrichting uit te zoeken en nog 1001 andere dingen. En de radio stond op Caroline... prima ontvangst had ik op de 5e verdieping van dat flatgebouw. Als ik luister naar die oude opnames ben ik weer helemaal terug in die tijd.... een nieuwe toekomst lag voor ons samen in het verschiet.
