  1. Ahoy! Thanks for the offer, PowerMusic, but I have another idea. If anybody wants to download the recordings of Absolute Radio 60s pirate programmes, send me a PM and I will help you get to hear and download them. I am unable to publish the links on this website, so you will need to send me a message.
  2. Ahoy! I can make available all 6 hours of Absolute Radio's pirate programmes from 12 August. I am not sure if I can provide links to recent radio broadcasts though. Maybe Vincent, or someone else, can let me know whether I can make available the recordings via this website.
  3. Hi Gerard, Thanks for your message. Well done for spotting the mistake I made with the date! Apologies and thank you for pointing this out. The correct date is 25/08/85. This chart show was broadcast on many commercial ILR stations across the UK. Further information can be found here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Network_Chart_Show Best wishes, Doug.

  5. Henk, you are not wrong in saying 'Sounds Fine with Caroline'. Everything Sounded Great on 558! Thanks for these recordings.

  8. Yes, Ben, that was them! I recall the last Weekly Report being sent out the same week the Ross Revenge was raided. The 80s was a great period for radio. The offshore stations and the Irish and UK pirates on medium wave had listeners spoilt for choice what to listen to. Great days.
  9. Hi Ben, Thanks for these Anoraks UK recordings. Seeing the tape sleeves brings back memories of receiving AUK's Weekly Report through my letterbox every Saturday morning. I also bought a lot of tapes from Barry and Ruth, but no longer have them. Thanks again.

  12. Hi Jorge, Sorry, I do not have the programme you are after.
  13. I bought WRTH for many years. It was a great book to have alongside my Grundig Yacht Boy 400 when I used to be a DXer.
