Janko Nilovic – Lettre de Mer Janko is al uitgebreid beschreven in de zeezenderdiscografie. Het blijkt dat meerdere lp’s met productiemuziek van Editions Montparnasse 2000 in de studio van Radio Mi Amigo aanwezig waren. Lettre de Mer komt voor op de lp Soul Impressions uit 1975. Het nummer Lettre de Mer werd zelfs twee keer gebruikt voor productiewerk. Allereerst door Peter van Dam in 1976 voor een slaapverwekkende jingle voor boorddeejay Jan van der Meer en een jaar later door Bart van Leeuwen om de camping Rienbouw in Playa de Aro te kunnen promoten. Dick Schory’s Percussion Pop Orchestra – El Cumbanchero. Van het nummer El Cumbanchero zijn ontelbare versies, zowel vocaal als instrumentaal, opgenomen. Het werd gecomponeerd door Rafael Hernández en in 1947 voor het eerst op de plaat gezet. De bovengenoemde uitvoering kwam in 1962 uit op RCA op de lp Holiday for Percussion. Op Radio Mi Amigo presenteerde Ad Petersen onder meer wekelijks Het Toffe Tiental, een programma met nieuwe platen en de diverse hittips van de deejays van het station. Keith Emmerson – Honky Tonk Train Blues. Het gaat hier om een cover van de compositie van Meade Lux Lewis. Emmerson, bekend geworden met de formatie The Nice en Emmerson, Lake en Palmer, wordt gerekend tot de beste toetsenisten van zijn tijd. Trouwens wat velen niet weten is dat The Nice ooit begon als begeleidingsband van de zangeres P.P. Arnold. Op 3 juli 1978 kwam Marc Jacobs na vele maanden afwezigheid terug aan boord van de Mi Amigo. Eén van de huisadverteerders van Radio Mi Amigo kwam regelmatig met nieuwe aanbiedingen waarna in het Spaanse Playa de Aro een nieuwe spot werd ingesproken. De S.O.S. signalen, aan het begin van dit nummer, hoorden we in de periode 1975-1977 regelmatig op Radio Mi Amigo in de programma’s van de VVVR, de Vereniging Voor Vrije Radio. Deze onafhankelijke vereniging was opgericht met als doel het instant houden en eventueel te bevorderen van Vrije Radio. Men had dan ook regelmatig een programma op de zondagmiddag. Dutch Rhytmn and Steelband – Edison. Deze band werd in 1969 opgericht door Adolf Tevreden en Bernito Riley en bestond destijds alleen uit in Nederland wonende Surinamers. Men noemde zich destijds The Silverstone Steelband. Opmerkelijk is dat men op een bepaald moment ging optreden in Duitsland als Trinidad Oil Company Steelband. In 1977 werd het nummer Edison opgenomen en het zinnetje uit de tekst: ‘thank you for the music at the discoshow, everybody dancing to the radio’ gebruikt voor een jingle in de opener van de Discoshow op Radio Mi Amigo. Good-bye, dat in 1976 als single verscheen op DECCA, was eerder uitgebracht op de lp Mouldy Old Dough. Niet bekend is van welke White Horse Inn afscheid werd genomen, er zijn er velen in Engeland. Aangenomen mag worden dat het gaat om de pub in Conventry. Michelle gebruikte het nummer in 1976 als filler naar het nieuws op het einde van haar programma op 9 juli op Radio Mi Amigo.
