Niet iedereen is hier een even grote fan van hem, ik beschouw Peter van Bruggen als een van de grootste radiokunstenaars van Nederland. Bij de KRO is hij al enkele jaren met pensioen, maar gelukkig heeft hij alle opnamen die hij maakte voor het Weeshuis van de Hits, Route du Soleil en de overige 'theater van de geest'- programma's die hij maakte altijd bewaard. Momenteel loopt een serie op Radio 1 waarin Peter een deel van zijn oeuvre heeft bewerkt en - waar nodig - vertaald naar nu. Een serie documentaires over belangwekkende episodes uit de geschiedenis en de cultuur op een manier zoals alleen hij dat kan. Op FB publiceerde JAM Creative een promo voor 3 daags event vanaf 30 September 2017, 50 jaar Radio 1 ! "JAM Creative Productions, Inc. 2017 - To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Radio 1, the BBC has created a streaming station called "Radio 1 Vintage" which wiill feature memorable moments and voices from the station's hiistory over a 3 day period. Afgelopen nacht hoorde ik dat het programma Woord vd VPRO stopt, iemand enig idee wat we ervoor terugkrijgen in de nacht van vr naar zat. Ik was wel blij met Woord, jammer dat het stopt.
