Ventures, the – Little people. Dit instrumentale nummer van The Ventures kwam in 1972 uit als b-kant van het nummer Sky Lab. Het nummer zou vervolgens op tal van verschillende lp’s van de groep terugkeren. Little people werd door Arnold Layne op RNI begin juli 1973 gebruikt als eindtune van zijn programma. Op de betreffende zaterdagavond ging het station, ongebruikelijk, om even na middernacht uit de ether zodat in de nacht onderhoud aan de zenders kon worden gepleegd. Ventures, the - Little people. It’s a beautiful day – Don and Dewey. Wat een prachtige naam voor een soft rock formatie uit San Francisco met onder meer de componist en violist David La Flamme. Hij componeerde dit instrumentale nummer met een knipoog naar het in 1963 verschenen ‘Stretchin out’ van het duo Don Harris en Dewey Terry. Het nummer van ‘It’s a beautiful day’ verscheen in 1970 op de lp ‘Marrying Maiden’. Op 25 september 1971, om drie uur in de nacht, opende Robb Eden voor het eerst dat jaar de 24 uur per etmaal service van RNI en kondigde aan dat ‘Don and Dewey’ zijn herkenningsmelodie was geworden. London Pop Orchestra, the – He ain’t heavy he’s my brother. Een nummer in 1969 gecomponeerd door Bob Russell en Bobby Scott. De heren ontmoetten elkaar slechts drie keer, waarna Russell aan een slopende ziekte kwam te overlijden. Desondanks maakten zij deze mooie compositie. Het nummer werd eerst opgenomen door Kelly Gordon maar de hitversie was voor The Hollies, terwijl Neil Diamond er een kleine hit mee had. Een instrumentale versie werd in 1970 door the London Pop Orchestra opgenomen. Die versie werd door Roger Kirk op RNI gebruikt als filler op 29 april 1971. Dit nummer is een compositie van Jule Styne en Sammy Cahn en is tevens de gelijknamige titelsong van een bioscoopfilm, die zich voornamelijk in Rome afspeelt. Beiden kwamen in 1954 uit. Na het componeren van het nummer, dat maar een uur duurde, maakte Frank Sinatra de proefopname, maar The Four Aces uitvoering werd voor de film gebruikt. Holiday for bells kwam in december 1971 weer voorbij en wel bij RNI. Er werd aangekondigd dat op Kerstavond om kwart na negen er een speciaal interview door Robb Eden zou worden afgenomen met Santa Claus, juist voordat deze aan het werk zou gaan.
