Het nummer werd soms ook als instrumentale versie uitgebracht, zo als die van Count Basie. Het was in 1967 dat Don Allen op Caroline North een lange spot insprak om de luisteraars op te roepen – in het kader van de vrijheid in de ether – vooral een brief te schrijven maar de lokale MP in The House of Lords om duidelijk te maken dat men voor vrije radio was in plaats van een monopolypositie voor de BBC.
