Jess and James – Fado. Een nummer afkomstig van de in 1969 verschenen lp Revolution Evolution Change. De tekst is van Fernando Lameirinhos en de compositie van zijn broer Antonio. Afkomstig uit Portugal verhuisden ze al heel vroeg naar België en richten begin jaren zestig de gitaargroep Robots op. Op een bepaald moment verschoof hun aandacht naar de soulmuziek en werd de naam van de groep ‘Jess and James’ en werden ze begeleid door de JJ Band. Het intro van het nummer ‘Fado’ werd door Lex Harding in 1970 gebruikt voor het inspreken van een jingle: ‘Dit is de Veronica Top 40’. Jess and James - Fado.
