In 1978 kwam de lp ‘ “Well, well” said the rocking chair’ uit, waarop ook het nummer ‘I’ve had enough’ stond.

Network Music Ensemble – Jet Set. Network Music Ensemble - Jet Set. A song taken from the 1979 Music Library album TV Themes by Tom Dinoto and Robert Skomer. They first marketed this independently but later they were taken over. In the Netherlands, the sale was in the hands of Top Format in Haarlem until 2010. In any case, there was also material from this library present at Radio Monique because the tune of 'De Keser Top 3' presented by Mark de Mast, 'Jet set', came from the above mentioned album. https://filesender.surf.nl/?s=download&token=2638d05a-6a96-4c74-a35a-cc570fa58173
  9. Roland S. Hannemann – Boxer. Roland S. Hannemann - Boxer. Some used tunes are easy to remember but nevertheless sometimes impossible to find. So it is with the song 'Boxer' played by Roland S. Hannemann. In 1985 and 1986 it was repeatedly used as a filler on Radio Monique during the summaries of the Top 50. Recently it became known that this song comes from CD19 of the Valentino Library with the theme 'Sounds Familiar'. The latter was certainly 'familiar' to me, Hans Knot, with this tune. I bought the Library Music series of Thomas J. Valentino Inc. in 1980, but on LPs. A huge pond of beautiful short tunes, including this song 'Boxer'. https://filesender.surf.nl/?s=download&token=2955effb-a07a-474e-b01c-8512627d6cb6

Richard Harvey - Variations On The Theme of Terrahawks. Player Association, the – Everybody dance. Player Association, the - Everybody dance. A song from the 1979 album 'Turn the music up' by this studio orchestra from New York. The Player Association was formed by drummer/arranger Chris Hills and producer Danny Weiss. Emmerson, Lake and Palmer – Promenade part 1. Amen.’ Daarna volgde ‘A Brand new day’ van de Wiz Stars. Zie aldaar. Emmerson, Lake and Palmer - Promenade part 1. This song is from a live album by Emerson Lake and Palmer, recorded in New Castle in March 1971. The part called 'Promenade part 1' was used on Radio Monique in 1986 for a promotion spot in favour of Peter van der Holst, who previously worked for Radio Delmare. A very long promotional spot: 'Beneath the faithful. In these times of misery, it is not often that good news gladdens our hearts. All too often, we hear prophets of doom suddenly echoing through our living rooms when we unsuspectingly switch on our radios. I am therefore delighted to be able to announce a turnaround in this often unintentional misery. In its infinite goodness, our board has decided to admit a new member to this congregation in order to bring relief to many people's hearts. A wise decision, indeed. After all, new blood, dear believers, is vitally important for the continued existence of our beautiful society. It makes our hearts beat faster and brings our minds to sometimes remarkable achievements. Let us hope that this new blood will inspire us daily and at the end of a long day hopefully bring peace to many. And when you return home to enjoy the evening's rest in your own circle, remember that there is indeed hope in this noisy world, every day (except weekends). Ladies and gentlemen, let us now rejoice together in the arrival of Peter van der Holst. Amen.' After that follows ‘A brand new day’ by the Wiz stars. https://filesender.surf.nl/?s=download&token=b8d62575-54ae-44a6-baa0-e6db33ec03df
  15. Cliff Noble and Company – The camel. Cliff Noble and Company - The camel. Jolley & Swain – Soul Street Het duo Steve Jolley en Tony Swain ontmoetten elkaar tijdens opnamen van The Muppet Show in 1975. Jolley & Swain - Soul Street The duo Steve Jolley and Tony Swain met while filming The Muppet Show in 1975. Swain was a cameraman and Jolley a sound engineer. Together with others, they formed the group Chaser and then concentrated on composing, producing and occasionally recording a song themselves. This is how Soul Street came out in the autumn of 1985. Handy record for a filler towards the news', thought Dick Verheul on Radio Monique in April 1986, but he had to start the song again when it turned out that the connection with the newsroom had not been properly established. https://filesender.surf.nl/?s=download&token=7f828c8b-1c1c-4024-83e1-6a8debf75c94
  19. Hotcha Trio – The galloping comedians. 20. Singers Unlimited, the – Have yourself a merry little Christmas. Singers Unlimited, the - Have yourself a merry little Christmas. Bakermat

Question Mark – Wonderful land. Question Mark - Wonderful land.
