NBC Symphony Orchestra – Beethoven Symphonie nr 7 in A Major Opus 92. Een prachtige uitvoering van dit klassieke werk uit 1951 met het orkest onder leiding van Arturo Toscanini. Het blijkt dat deze uitvoering deels werd gebruikt als eerste muziekstuk op de openingsdag van Radio Mercur op 2 augustus 1958. Na een enkele jingle en inleidende woorden volgde het NBC Symphony Orchestra. NBC Symphony Orchestra - Beethoven Symphony no. 7 in A Major Opus 92. A beautiful performance of this classical work from 1951 with the orchestra conducted by Arturo Toscanini. It appears that this performance was partly used as the first piece of music on the opening day of Radio Mercur on 2 August 1958.
