November is definitely wrong. Rob's last programme was 17th October according to Radiopedia.

 

Wednesday 12th October IS possible. (At 53 minutes, Rob says he'll be on at the same time the next day and that Steve Masters follows for three hours). Other possibilities are 10th, 11th, 13th and 16th October.

 

 

At 10 minutes, before playing "Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi", Rob mentions that Kylie Minogue will be performing on the TV show "The Hit Man and Her" that night (on TVS at 3am).

 

If someone has access to the TV Times for the TVS region, this could be easily confirmed.

 

Both Kylie's song and "Breathe Life Into Me" by Mica Paris entered the UK top 100 on 22nd October 1988 but were probably first released a couple of weeks earlier.
