In Oktober 1978 "rommelde" het al een tijdje achter de schermen bij Radio Mi Amigo, dat de laatste generator op 20 Oktober van dat jaar "krak" deed was het laatste stukje van de puzzel.

Komende 2 uurtjes zijn van Marc Jacobs zijn laatste Mi Amigo "Baken 16" vanaf het schip. Later in 1979 maakte Marc het programma nog voor Caroline, maar in mijn optie, had het programma toen toch een flink deel van zijn glans verloren, al was het fijn om Marc weer te horen.
