Radio Nova was a pirate radio station based in Leicester,England,in 1983 and 1984. The station could be heard far and wide on its medium wave frequency of 1404 kHz / 212 meters. The station finally closed after being raided by the DTI,in which the operators were prosecuted for unlicenced broadcasting.

 

The recording below is from my original cassette tape from 1983. Sorry if the sound quality isn't too good. The recording is 45 minutes long.
