It only seems like yesterday when the Ross Revenge was boarded by evil people, with only one purpose: to

silence our favourite radio stations from the North Sea. This may have been the end for the Dutch-language

service, but I can still remember the joy of hearing Caroline come back to life one evening, with test transmissions.

Radio Caroline, Monique, Radio 819, Radio 558... we will NEVER hear radio like this ever again from a ship at sea.

Such great memories of truly remarkable people who sat out on a ship, in all weathers, to bring us the best radio ever.
