Na het stoppen van de Nederlandse uitzendingen gaat op vrijdag 29 juni 2012 ook de stekker uit de Engelse, de Spaanse en de Indonesische uitzendingen.

De Spaanse en Indonesische uitzendingen zijn onder normale omstandigheden in Nederland niet te ontvangen.

3 jaar geleden is ook de verzorging voor Europa en Amerika al gestopt.

Voor de laatste uitzending zal er ook een frequentie voor Europa beschikbaar zijn:

18:59-20:57 UTC - Europe - 6065 kHz - Wertachtal 500 kW Non Directional.

Het complete schema van de extra frequenties ziet er zo uit :

- 01:59-02:57 UTC - North America (East) - 6165 kHz - Bonaire (that's late Thursday, local time!)

- 02:59-03:57 UTC - North America (Central) - 6165 kHz - Bonaire (that's late Thursday, local time!)

- 04:59-05:57 UTC - North America (West) - 6165 kHz - Bonaire (that's late Thursday, local time!)

- 04:59-05:57 UTC - New Zealand + Australia (South East) - 12015 kHz - Bonaire

- 18:59-20:57 UTC - Europe - 6065 kHz - Wertachtal

Ook PCJ media in Taiwan (de huidige maker van Happy Station) zal aandacht besteden aan het stoppen:

van 02:00-0400 UTC is er een extra uitzending op 9.955 kHz vanuit Miami.

Deze uitzending zal de geschiedenis van RNW Engels en Spaans behandelen.

In het 2e uur is er La estacion de la Allegria met Tom Meijer vanuit Nederland.

De uitzending is bij ons te horen via de stream op www.wrmi.net.

RNW heeft inmiddels een verhaah gepubliceerd over wat er met het zendstation op Bonaire gaat gebeuren na vandaag. Er sttat ook een video die gisteren is gemaakt tijdens de laatste Spaanse uitzending.
