But this is definitely 91X San Diego, California from Wednesday June 24th, 1987.

91X was one of only a handful of classic commercial alternative stations from the 80s.

WLIR/WDRE here in New York.

KROQ in Los Angeles.

91X in San Diego.

A few others.

I think I may have one from 91X in 1989. I'll have to take a look.
