! am sure this date is correct.

 

In the week of 12-19th February 1972 the RNI Smashplay on the English Service was The guitar man by Bread. This record has been played during this hour.

 

Brian says it's a Tuesday evening and that was the 15th February 1972. And it is correct what Micheal Downing mentioned in his log, that RNI leaves the air on 22 hours, so I think Paul May has a day-off.
