Op 3 Maart 1974 werden de uitzendingen van Radio Atlantis, enigszins onverwacht, onderbroken door activisten van de Vlaamse "Taal Aktie Kommittee" die live aan boord van de "Jeanine" de uitzendingen overnamen. Adriaan van Landschoot had toen ook al zijn eigen politieke bezigheden maar of hij hier ook echt achterstond?  Er is veel informatie te vinden op deze link:

I was told by an Atlantis staff member that TAK provided some financial backing for Radio Atlantis.

It was one of the dj's who went to Mi Amigo in 1973 told me he left Atlantis because of right wing political influences at the time. He told me that Atlantis was financed by the extreme right political wings (o.a TAK)
in Belgium. He said it was the intention to broadcast political propaganda at election time. 

 

Of course we know of the TAK broadcast in March 1974, but I don't think there were any more.

 

Obviously I don't know if it was true or not, but it is only what I was told.
