Hi Hans,

Do you have any idea why the edits are mainly DJ chat with very little music. I have consulted Jan-Fre's Index and those hours are filled with gaps. (Maybe the recorder didn't like any of the music played. It certainly didn't sound as if reception deteriorated)

Hi John,

I have no information why this recording is the way it is.

First a full recording of three hours was made and then it was reduced with much less music. I have the impression that the speech was not shortened.

What I have heard is that this method provides a good basis for judging a new DJ. In a few minutes you are through the hour and you have an impression of the music and the transitions to talking.
