Hi guys, this is funpirate on line ...
My last entry on this forum was in March 2015.
That's how fast time flies ...
During this period, there are changes, especially in 2017, when  can read messages from Jan-Fre.

And listen fantastic audio files collection from Radio Luxembourg in 1970's .
My greetings and a lot of gratitude for Jan-Fre - great work.
This inspired me to  update  entries here, as some materials,

that might be of interest to fans of RTL 208, especially in parts with Dutch DJs .
Will make a reservation right now, because these audio materials from the Hans Knot collection.
In any case, he is the author of these publications.
I think, you know this name.
Audio materials were published for a fairly short time on FB and I think,

that it will be fair, if the publication will be repeated here, on Internet Radiocafe.
As if like - Second edition ...

First audio files from 01 January 1972 - Radio Luxembourg 208 - Beatles Bonanza :

19720101 pt1 Mark Wesley, Paul Burnett (60.28)

19720101 pt2 Mark Wesley, Paul Burnett (60.45)

19720101 pt3 Paul Burnett (44.11)
19720101 pt4 Paul Burnett (41.04)

and from 02 January 1972 :

19720102 pt1 Felix Meurders – EuroTopperTijd (62.52)

19720102 pt2 Paul Burnett (57.52)

If there is interest for the members of Internet Radiocafe and you are satisfied

with the server Media Fire, I will continue as far as possible ...

Sorry for my english  :)  and thanks for your attention ...

Welcome back Funpirate.

Last year I recorded 150 cassettes (c120) with Luxembourg from the periode 69-73. Jan-Fré checked them and placed the recordings here. Also Hans Knot used the recordings on FB, he was the one who gave me the tip of the cassettes. A nice collaboration, as it should be. For us it is not important who gets the credits. Most important is that the audio recordings are preserved and accessible.

These as the recordings from the cassettes:

Luxembourg-19720101-1935-2135-MarkWesley-PaulBurnett-BeatlesBonanza
Luxembourg-19720101-2135-2300-PaulBurnett-BeatlesBonanza
Luxembourg-19720102-1800-2000-FelixMeurders-EuroTopperTijd

More to come in the next weeks.

Thanks Vincent for the clarifications,

in my publish of records a slightly different format,

because in my collection a slightly different order.

For me these recordings are somewhat early, as I started listening

to Radio Luxembourg around 1974.
Unfortunately in Lithuania, where I live, it was not possible to listen to

pirate radio stations from UK , Holland and other ... distance too great.

OK , to be continued :

19711218 Pee Pee-Euro Topper Tijd (44.39)

19721125 pt1 Mark Wesley (60.06)

19721125 pt2 Mark Wesley (59.58)

19721125 pt3 Dave Christian (60.03)

19721125 pt4 Paul Burnett (60.06)

19721125 pt5 Paul Burnett, Kid Jensen (60.07)

Are there more recordings from Peter on Luxembourg? I often listened to his show (daily from 19-1930).

He often had letters from Lithuania in his show. I got the idea he had more listeners there than in Holland.

Sad to hear he has passed away at such an early age. The last couple of months his show on Mi Amigo International was nonstop, but it was still a pleasure to listen to.

Thanks Tino for comment,

I do not know how many letters came from Lithuania

(since this is the period of occupation in Soviet Union).

At that time, the censorship followed the postal mail quite strictly ...
But in 90's, after the fall of the Berlin Wall and on the eve of

the collapse of the Soviet empire - it was quite possible.
In one of show on 208 , there really was a letter from

Leningrad (St. Petersburg) from Russia.

And Peter van Dam read it on the air.

It was difficult to pronounce - Babushkina street ...
You can listen on this audio from 22 min.

19901200 Peter van Dam (30.21)

Unfortunately in my archive the choice from the Dutch service

on Radio Luxembourg International is not very great,

but here are some more with Peter van Dam :

19890000 pt1 Peter van Dam (29.21)

19890000 pt2 Peter van Dam (29.23)

Thank you for your recordings. Having a hard time listening to it right now. Had the same problem when Alfred Lagarde passed away.

By the way, Zaki is also a very good Belgian DJ.

Hi FP

Thanks especially for Tony Prince and Peter Koelewijn

Here are the programs you are asking for :

https://pixeldra.in/u/TgsC8C

(With thanks to Jan Fre)

Do you have any connection with the unofficial site rtlgreat208, as your avatar and many (H. Knot ?)programs you

have provided are available on it ?

Thanks Eric for the materials, very grateful for the help.
As for rtgreat208, then yes, I am the owner of this blog.

There are some publications from Hans Knot, but many are still in the queue ...

Since 2003, when I began to search for audio material from the Station of the Stars,

the collection now is quite large and a lot of materials were published on the forum " offshoreradio.org".

This blog is part of a hobby and leisure, well, in some way a joy for fans of Radio Luxembourg.

Also, this avatar can be found on the FB, this also belongs to my person :)
