Hauraki werd legaal

Sounds Orchestral – Many Moons ago. Het betreft hier een heel vroege opname van Sounds Orchestral uit 1962 en wel van de lp ‘The Soul of Sounds Orchestral’, terwijl het nummer ook op een aantal verzamel lp’s is verschenen. Het nummer werd gebruikt op Radio Hauraki in de documentaire ‘1111 days at sea’, die op 1 juni 1969 werd uitgezonden. Het werd gebruikt als filler om te vertellen dat uiteindelijk het station een legale status had verkregen en men er voor zou gaan om een private organisatie aan land te gaan opzetten.

Sounds Orchestral - Many Moons. This is a very early recording of Sounds Orchestral from 1962 of the album 'The Soul of Sounds Orchestral', while the song also appeared on a number of collected LPs. The song was used on Radio Hauraki in the documentary '1111 days at sea', which was broadcast on June 1, 1969. It was used as a filler to tell that eventually the station had acquired legal status and people were going to go for setting up a private organisation ashore.
