John Kirby Sextet – It’s only a paper moon. Dit orkest had ook wel de bijnaam ‘The biggest little band in the land’ en nam in 1942 in de serie ‘Swing Music’ de instrumentale versie van ‘It’s only a paper moon’ op bij het His Master Voice label. Als je het hoort denk je meteen aan een promospot in 1974 toen Tony Allan het gebruikte om de spot te maken voor de gratis Caroline Car Sticker, die in de markt werd gezet door het station in samenwerking met de Free Radio Campaign.

John Kirby Sextet - It's only a paper moon. This orchestra was nicknamed 'The biggest little band in the land' and in 1942 they recorded the instrumental version of 'It's only a paper moon' with the His Master Voice label in the series 'Swing Music'.
