Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy – March of the Herald. De kapel van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Marine, destijds onder leiding van Gijsbert Nieuwland,  werd met de lp ‘Now hear this’ wereldwijd bekend. Van Nederland tot Amerika, Zuid Afrika tot Brazilië. De lp stamt uit 1956 en een van de nummers, March of the Herald, was een compositie van ene Nicholls. In 1974 werd dit nummer op Radio Veronica op zondagmiddag gebruikt om in het programma ‘Fietsen rond de tafel’ vanaf boord de voetbaluitslagen in het Betaald Voetbal voor te lezen.
