De volgende clip is misschien wel een van de laatste puzzelstukjes over het onderwerp MEBO II na 1974.  Het is een interview van Jan Sundermann met Robin Adcroft (Banks) tijdens de Radiotag Erkrath in september 2005. Dit deel van het interview gaat vooral over RNI. Robin was tot het einde betrokken bij MEBO en was ook tot het laatste moment zendertechnicus aan boord van de MEBO II in Libië. Wat gebeurde er met het schip in Slikkerveer en onderweg richting Libië, hoe verliep de aankomst voor de kust daar en wat is er gebeurt met de alle zenders. Hier zijn de antwoorden. Earlier this week there were some postings of video’s and documents concerning the MEBO II after 1974. This clip might be the last missing piece of the puzzle named “What happened with the MEBO II after 1974” It’s an interview of Jan Sundermann with Robin Adcroft (Banks) at the Radiotag Erkhrath on September the 3rd of 2005. This part of the interview mostly handles Robin’s time at RNI. Robin worked with MEBO almost until the end and was on board the MEBO II as transmission engineer. What happened with the ship at Slikkerveer and on it’s way to Libya. How was the crossing and the reception of the ship arriving on the North African coast, and what happened with the transmitters after they were taken of the ship. Here are the answers. Yes indeed Alex, but I think many of the people who know are no longer with us.
