Winston Churchill – BBC Balcony Speech. Een wel heel bijzondere vermelding. Het gaat om een lange spot op Caroline South in 1967 waarbij men de draak stak met de toen naderende Marine Offences Act: ‘You’re broadcasting a program called the Mike A hern show from Radio Caroolin……’ Op het einde hoor je een stukje van ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, dat afkomstig was van een BBC opname waarin Richard Dimbleby verslag deed van de speech die Churchill gaf op VE-Day 8 mei 1945 in London.

This is a long spot on Caroline South in 1967 making fun of the then approaching Marine Offences Act: 'You're broadcasting a programme called the Mike A hern show from Radio Caroolin......' At the end, you hear a snippet of 'Land of Hope and Glory', which came from a BBC recording in which Richard Dimbleby reported on Churchill's speech given on VE-Day 8 May 1945 in London.
