Deze opname is niet van 16-6-1989. Ik hoor Chris zeggen dat het een zondag is en de 16de viel op een vrijdag.

Bovendien zou het niet matchen met de 2de opname omdat daar Dave Richards staat vermeld en er dan sprake zou zijn van overlapping.

 

Enige aanknopingspunt verder van deze opname (behalve de dag van de week), is dat het zeer zomers is met temperaturen tot 27 graden. En dat klopt met die tijdsperiode.

Ik heb zelf deze opname dan op zondag 18-06-1989 gezet.

Beste Roel,

First of all, who is Sean Taylor? There is no mention of him in The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame's DJ directory. Also, the last two seem to be the same except the last one is 27 minutes longer (Free's My brother Jake is on both recordings at 9mins.)

wrt Gerard's entry, Freewave nr182 says that on 18th June, the dj line-up was 06-10 Max, 10-14 Shaun, 14-18 Philip,18-22 Dave, 22-02 Neil and 02-06 Chris. Comments?

You're right. I have looked to the next Freewave (183) and see that Chris Adams had a programme on Sunday 16th July 1989 between 5 and 9. (In Freewave CET-time is mentiond by Hans Knot)

 

So this program from Chris Adams is not from 16th June 1989, but 16th July 1989.

Shaun Tilley used the name Sean Taylor on Caroline 558 in 1989. One time Ross Revenge cook in 1986

Pretty sure "Sean Taylor" is simply a mishearing of Shaun Tilley.
