    Pretty sure this is actually one year earlier, i.e. 22nd December 1988, one day before the "sponsored fast".

     

    At 9m0s Steve Conway says "it's 3 minutes and 5 seconds before we begin our great fast" and "anybody caught eating to-morrow will be sacked".

     

    Also in December 1989, the station was closing down at 6pm. (The 4th file with Dave Asher actually includes the close-down).
