Robert Delgado – My island in the sun. Prachtige instrumentale uitvoering van ‘My island in the sun’, ooit tot een hit gezongen in 1957 door Harry Belafonte. Belafonte schreef het nummer samen met Irving Burgie. Roberto Delgado nam het met zijn orkest op in 1970 en het nummer verscheen op een lp getiteld ‘Easy listening’ met materiaal van diverse orkesten. Aan boord van de MEBO II was deze lp ook want in de maand juli 1971 gebruikte Dave Rodgers dit nummer als afsluiting van zijn nachtprogramma, op naar het nieuws van drie uur.

On board of the MEBO II this record was also because in the month of July 1971 Dave Rodgers used this song as the closing of his night programme, on to the news of three o'clock.
