Shadows – Quartermasters Stores. Andermaal een instrumentaaltje uit de stal van The Shadows. Dit nummer kwam in 1960 uit op het Columbia label. Producer Norrie Paramour wilde het op een a-kant van een single maar zijn dochter vond een ander nummer mooier en zo werd Apache op de voorkant gezet. Van origine is Quartermaster Stores een lied dat veel werd gezongen door de Britse troepen ten tijde van de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Tijdens kampvuursessies binnen de scoutingbeweging komt het lied nog steeds wel eens voorbij. Op Radio Mi Amigo was het Joop Verhoof die het nummer als filler, op naar het hele uur gebruikte.

Originally Quartermaster Stores is a song that was often sung by British troops during the First World War. During campfire sessions within the scouting movement, the song still comes along sometimes. On Radio Mi Amigo it was Joop Verhoof who used the song as a filler, on to the hour.
