Hierbij de originele Beatles Story zoals die in de winter van 1971 op 1972 werd gemaakt door  de BBC radio. Uitgezonden op Radio 1 van mei tot en met september 1972, presentatie Brain Matthews, productie Johnny Beerling. 

De tapes werden gebruikt als basis voor TROS Poster in 1974 (geactualiseerde herhaling 1976 en 1981).

Er is een verschil tussen de Britse basisversie en de voor de Amerikaanse radio gemaakte edit (met ruimte voor reclamebreaks). Ik weet eigenlijk niet welke versie ik heb.
