According to Freewave No.180, 1200-1400 was presented by Nick Jackson. According to Jan-Fre' s Index it is 1251-1300 Nick Jackson and 1300-1354 Ian Miles.

I have listened to this twice and I believe the year is wrong and the time is wrong.

 

 

At 8m 10s you can hear time-pips in the background (from a co-channel station), so the recording starts at approx. 52 minutes past the hour, not 51.

 

At 35m 20s the presenter says it's "Thursday the 5th of May" (which corresponds to 1988, not 1989).

 

Also, a third of the tracks played were released in April or May 1988. None of the tracks played were released later than that.

 

The DJ's voice sounds identical to Mike Williams who was on board from 27th April to 5th June 1988.

 

 

Radiopedia says that the schedule for Thursday 5th May 1988 was: 5am Steve Conway; 9am Mike Williams; 1pm Erwin van der Bliek; 5pm Ad Roberts; 7pm Mike Williams again; 9pm John Bibby; 1am closedown.

 

 

I believe the recording is Thursday 5th May 1988 and the time was noted as CEST not BST (probably it was recorded on the continent). So the time should be about one hour earlier, i.e. 11.52am to 12.55pm.
