Uitvoerenden onbekend – Salt Peanuts. Eén van de prachtige composities die Dizzy Gellespie ons naliet. Hij werd geboren in 1917 in Cherow South Carolina en speelde met tal van bekende jazz musici in diverse samenstellingen. Het nummer is honderden keren opgenomen en is niet te traceren in welke uitvoering Salt Peanuts werd gebruikt als tune voor de Big L Top 40 met Ed Stewart in 1967.

 

Performers unknown – Salt Peanuts. One of the beautiful compositions left behind by Dizzy Gellespie. He was born in 1917 in Cherow, South Carolina, and played with numerous well-known jazz musicians in various ensembles. The song has been recorded hundreds of times, and it is impossible to trace which version of Salt Peanuts was used as the theme tune for the Big L Top 40 with Ed Stewart in 1967.
