Op vrijdag 28 februari zendt Sterren NL Radio live uit vanaf ‘3 Uurkes Vurraf’ in Eindhoven, het traditionele startsein van carnaval in Brabant. Tussen 12:00 en 18:00 uur doet de zender verslag van de feestelijke aftrap en brengt het programma muziek en sfeer vanaf locatie.


De uitzending wordt gepresenteerd door Emilie Sleven van 12:00 tot 15:00 uur, waarna Marcel de Vries het stokje overneemt tot 18:00 uur. Vanwege deze speciale programmering begint de wekelijkse Sterren NL Top 25 eerder dan gebruikelijk, namelijk om 10:00 uur.


‘3 Uurkes Vurraf’ is al jaren een vast onderdeel van de carnavalsviering in Eindhoven en trekt duizenden bezoekers. Het evenement wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met Omroep Brabant en markeert het officiële begin van het feestweekend.
