N.a.v. de zomer toen ik dagelijks een tien dagen voor m'n werk naar Uden reed, kwam ik als ik door de dorpen reed een aantal dagen langs discotheek ut Stuupke in Boekel en dan moest ik weer aan deze opname denken die destijds gemaakt is door Harm Koenders van de andere club. Drie jaar geleden heb ik een aantal opnames van AFN Soesterberg aangeboden, opgenomen in Utrecht tussen 1984 en 1990. Ik was nog een bandje kwijt, maar vorige week vond ik dat bij een grote opruiming terug. Als er geen live sportwedstrijden waren op AFN en ik thuis was, luisterde ik op zaterdagavond in de jaren tachtig graag naar AFN. Van 7 tot 11 was er Dick Clark’s Rock, Roll and Remember.
