More than 2 years after her disappearance from the airwaves on 3rd March 1968, Radio Caroline returned on Saturday, 13th June 1970, a few days before the 1970 General Election, for the purpose of promoting the introduction of licensed commercial radio in the UK, which had been promised by the Conservative Party in its election manifesto. From 13th to 20th June 1970 Radio Caroline used the transmitters of Radio Nordsee International (RNI) on MV Mebo II. Details of the six recordings made on 13th June 1970:
1. 00.00-00.30 hrs. 100FM Carl Mitchell & Andy Archer (edited). This recording is by courtesy of http://www.azanorak.com.
2. 00.46-03.00 hrs. 100FM Carl Mitchell, Andy Archer, Alan West. (some UK police interference)
5. 05.36-06.10 hrs. 100FM Roger Day.
3. 06.12-06.33 hrs. 244AM Roger Day.
4. 06.35-08.26 hrs. 244AM Roger Day.
6. 08.26-08.54 hrs. 100FM Roger Day.
