Geplaatst 27 mei 20178 jr. Van Azanorak twee recent daar geplaatste files, met de premiere van Sgt Pepper's op Radio London. Hier het bericht van Ray Robinson: The time of the first airing was 5-6pm on Friday 12th May, during a sponsored show called "It's All Happening". The first half hour was presented by senior DJ Ed Stewart. The news at 5:30 was presented by Keith Skues, and then the second half hour was presented by John Peel, who was plainly ecstatic. At one point he says "There's nothing else in the world I'd rather be doing right now!" David Lomas has kindly sent me a recording he made of about 20 minutes of that show, from just before 5:30 until about 5:50pm. If you'd like to relive part of that afternoon, here it is: 1967 05 12 Fri 1700-1750 R London (266m) - Ed Stewart, John Peel - World Premiere of Sgt Pepper (Keith Skues - News) I have included in the zip file another edited recording of links from about the first 15 minutes of the show, made by Hans Knot. 1967 05 12 Fri 1700-1715 R London (266m) - Ed Stewart - World Premiere of Sgt Pepper (clips, 3 mins).mp3http://www119.zippyshare.com/v/1UzfaBWU/file.html 1967 05 12 Fri 1728-1750 R London (266m) - Ed Stewart, John Peel - World Premiere of Sgt Pepper (Keith Skues - News).mp3http://www40.zippyshare.com/v/h5TIFkeL/file.html Groeten, Jan
