Weather Report – Birdland. Productiewerk wordt bijna nooit genoemd in de discografielijst als het gaat om Laser 558 omdat de medewerkers van dit station vooral gebruik maakten van de LP serie met productiemuziek genaamd ‘LA Force’ uit Fresno. Echter was het Liz West die in mei 1985 het nummer ‘Birdland’ van de formatie Weather Report verkoos om informatie voor te lezen over de Laser Concert Agenda en de Laser Roadshow. Het nummer werd in 1977 gecomponeerd door Joey Zawinul en werd door diverse artiesten opgenomen.
