Op Radio Noordzee gebruikte Peter Holland incidenteel een instrumentaaltje, al dan niet ter opvulling van een programma-uur. Hij verwees daarbij naar "Het halvegare koor." Het klinkt enigszins als Spike Jones maar is het niet. Het muziekje is geknipt uit een gelijknamige lp uit 1971 op het RCA label en wel in de categorie Radio Play Comedy.

On Radio North Sea, Peter Holland occasionally used an instrumental tune, whether or not to fill a programme hour. In doing so, he referred to "The Half-Guy Choir." It sounds somewhat like Spike Jones but is not. The tune was cut from a 1971 LP of the same name on the RCA label and it was in the Radio Play Comedy category.
