Gary Byrd And The G.B Experience - The Crown Wie in vervlogen tijden wel eens naar BBC 1 op de zondagavond tussen 11 en 12 GMT heeft geluisterd naar het gospelprogramma herinnert zich nog wel de naam van de presentator: Gary Byrd. Hij nam, samen met The G.B. Experience het nummer ‘The Crown’ in 1983 op. Een soort van rapsong dat uitkwam op het Wondirection label, onderdeel van Motown Records. Het werd geproduceerd door Stevie Wonder. Op de Voice of Peace werd er een speciale versie opgenomen op de instrumentale versie voor promotie van de Discoshow op het station.
