De opname is op raadselachtige wijze verdwenen van mijn harde schijf. Heeft iemand het nog en zou het programma nog een keer gedeeld kunnen worden? Alvast veel dank!

I think you are right.

The first story of the Laissez-Faire was broadcasted on 26th December 1971 and has been repeated on 2nd January 1972.

So I think Jan-Fré has make a mistake in the head of his index. 26nd December 1972 must be 26nd December 1971.

Indeed, also 26th December 1971 can still be downloaded from Offshoreradio.org. I downloaded and listened to it yesterday and it corresponds with Jan-Fre's listing above. It is listed as 1000-1046 (CET)?

Thanks Gerard and best wishes to you.

I only heard NSgDX for the first time in September 1973 when my parents bought me a short wave radio. By then the programme was every Sunday from 0900-1000 GMT. Of course I later learnt that it had previously been broadcast on the last Sunday of the month with a repeat the following week. At least I think that is right!

Thank you for the NGDX. It is indeed the program that disappeared from my harddisk.

I'm very happy having it back.

In the seventies I never heard Northsea Goes DX. I had a radio that only received AM and FM.

Fortunately, I have quite a few some recordings of it now, so that I can still listen to them.

According to Ben's RNI pages there was no DX programme broadcast on 26th December 1971,

No World Service today, as expected, but also no "Nordsee goes DX" either.

However it was broadcast on 2nd January 1972;

Sunday 2 January 1972

"Kop op" this morning is hosted by Hans ten Hooge. "Nordsee goes DX" is broadcast on shortwave this morning at 10.00 and has Radios England, Britain, Dolfijn, 227 and 355 as featured stations. Also included in this programme is a very important announcement about the new World Service - this will start on the first Sunday of February and will broadcast on the two shortwave frequencies, as well as a brand new medium wave frequency at weekends, 270 metres.

So 2nd January 1972 would be the correct date for this recording.

I just checked the original studiotape from the AJ Beirens archive. On the tapebox, AJ Beirens has written that this is the RNI 1972 New Year and at the end of the program I'm hearing a spot (that was broadcast on 220m), where he states that the New Year `72 program will be broadcast on January 2nd with a repeat on January 3rd :
