Raoul Schram is vanaf zaterdag 14 juni de nieuwe presentator van het house- en technoprogramma The Boom Room op SLAM!. Hij volgt hiermee Gijs Alkemade op, die het programma elf jaar lang presenteerde. Alkemade heeft inmiddels de overstap gemaakt naar Radio Veronica, waar hij te horen is in de late avonduren.

Met de nieuwe invulling van The Boom Room krijgt de zaterdagavond bij SLAM! een vertrouwd maar ook fris geluid. Raoul Schram is geen onbekende op de zender. Sinds 2018 is hij bij SLAM! actief, zowel voor als achter de schermen. Naast zijn werk als contentcoördinator is hij op de radio onder meer te horen als vaste presentator van de SLAM! Mixmarathon op vrijdag tussen 14:00 en 17:00 uur. Ook presenteert hij sinds oktober de Mixmarathon Chart op vrijdagmiddag en zaterdagavond.

De carrière van Schram begon bij een lokale omroep in Groningen. Voor zijn komst naar SLAM! werkte hij onder andere bij Radio Veronica en Qmusic.
