When I travel in the US (spent my summer vacation there in the last couple of years) I usually listen to Sirius XM while driving. Unfortunately, it is not possible to subscribe legally outside of North America. However, due to a Covid-19 related promotion, Sirius XM was streaming worldwide for free in April and May. Here are some recordings of channel 56, SXM The Highway, from April 9, 2020 0506-1300. Sound quality is mediocre as I recorded from the sound card of my laptop. If there is any interest I could post more of my recordings. I would love to get other recordings of SXM Country stations from times other than April and May 2020. https://pixeldra.in…

Dit is wat ze over zichzefl schrijven: Smile Sussex is the place to hear nostalgic classics by legendary recording artists including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Julie London. We combine the best of Big Band, the strong tempos of Swing and a touch of Jazz.

In this fast-moving, funny and poignant documentary, and in a broadcast exclusive, the Stones will describe 12 momentous months in which they marked the 50th anniversary of their first gig, released the 'GRRR!' compilation (which stayed in the UK charts for six months), played to some of their most glowing reviews ever at London's 02 Arena and in New York and New Jersey, then reconvened as the '50 & Counting' tour resumed in 2013. The show will include a great selection of their much-loved hits and features the whole band talking about everything from Mick Jagger and Keith Richards on the incredible continuing demand to see them live, getting back together for their 5…

Bureau of Counterculture, Soho Radio, 02-08-2021 Music writer ROB CHAPMAN returns to the Bureau to tell the story of this first golden age of illicit broadcasting. We hear of the extraordinary life of pirate-in-chief Ronan O’Rahilly anarchist founder of Radio Caroline, of legendary broadcaster John Peel and his ground breaking show ‘The Perfumed Garden’, and of the oddities of life aboard the radio ships precariously sailing the airwaves.
