Salsoul Orchestra, the – Magic Bird of Fire. Het was Vincent Montana, voorheen de arrangeur, componist en musicus van MFSB, die in 1974 besloot een nieuw orkest op te richten in New York, the Salsoul Orchestra. Enkele andere leden van MFSB volgden zijn voorbeeld. Dit orkest maakte ook succesvolle lp’s, waaronder Magic Journey die in 1977 verscheen. Van die lp is het nummer ‘Magic Bird of Fire’ afkomstig dat Marcel Stevens in 1979 als eindtune gebruikte op Radio Delmare.
