tweevoudig gebruik countdown op radio noordzee

Brian Fahey and his Orchestra – Countdown.

Brian Fahey and his Orchestra - Countdown. The b side of this single from 1969 on the Major Minor Label, 'Open House' , is already in the offshore radio discography. Brian Fahey composed the song Countdown and Norman Newell was responsible for the production. The song Countdown has double use on Radio Noordzee, the Dutch-language branch of RNI. It was Joost Verhoeven who used it for a short time as a tune for his morning programme in 1971. His colleague Hans ten Hooge also used it in 1971 as a filler up to the whole hour.
