Tennessee Three – A boy named Sue. In verschillende samenstellingen gaat het hier om de begeleidingsgroep van Johnny Cash tussen 1960 en 1980. Ten tijde van de opname van de lp ‘The Sound behind Johnny Cash’ bestond de groep uit W.S. Holland, Marshall Grant en Bob Wootton. Het was Graham Gill die de instrumentale versie van ‘A boy named Sue’ gebruikte voor het inzingen van een promo ten bate van het programma ‘Don Allen’s country Jamboree’ op RNI in 1974.
