Bert Kaempfert and his Orchestra – Free and Easy. Ontzettend veel prachtige nummers van het orkest van Bert Kaempfert zijn gebruikt in de geschiedenis van de zeezenders maar het nummer ‘Free and Easy’ kwamen we pas in 2024 tegen. Het nummer komt van de gelijknamige LP die in 1970 internationaal werd uitgebracht op zowel het Polydor Label als op die van DECCA. In september 1976 gebruikte Stan Haag ‘Free and Easy’ als afsluiter naar de klok van 12 uur in zijn programma ‘Stan Haag Vandaag’ op Radio Mi Amigo.

An awful lot of great songs by Bert Kaempfert's orchestra have been used in the history of the offshore radio stations but we didn't come across the song ‘Free and Easy’ until 2024. The song comes from the eponymous LP released internationally in 1970 on both the Polydor Label and that of DECCA. In September 1976, Stan Haag used ‘Free and Easy’ as the closing track to the 12 o'clock hour on his programme ‘Stan Haag Vandaag’ on Radio Mi Amigo.
