is a 50,000 watt AM radio station broadcasting on 800 kHz and located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and serving Windsor and Detroit. Additionally, its signal can be heard as far west as Belding, Michigan; as far east as Batavia, New York; as far south as Edgewood, Kentucky; and as far north as Posen, Michigan. It is best known for having been one of the most influential Top 40 stations in the world in the 1960s and 1970s. During this era, CKLW used a very tight Top 40 format known as Boss Radio, devised by radio programmer Bill Drake. However, CKLW never actually used the handle "boss" on the air, just the style. Rather than a "Boss 30", CKLW's weekly music survey was know…

Hi everyone, as a fan of dj Roger Scott i'm looking for a program from the BBC as a tribute. info : Roger Scott's last show was on Sunday 8th October 1989 and he sadly passed away on 31st of that month aged only 46, having suffered from cancer. A tribute programme about Roger's life on the air was broadcast by Radio 1 on 4th November 1989 at 4pm, entitled 'Radio, Radio', recorded a few weeks before his death. I'm a fan and have had a "meet and greet" at CFOX radio-Montreal where he was working then. Hopefully someone has the above recording from the BBC............ Thanks a lot, Juul
