Toen ik bij Veronica kwam ging er een hele nieuwe wereld voor mij open, op allerlei gebied, maar zeker op muziek gebied.

Ik ging de discotheek door struinen en zag ook elke week de nieuwste Amerikaanse singles binnen komen, rechtstreeks uit de US.

En ik vond een hele hoop singles met Psychedelische muziek. Obscure bandjes maar ook singles die hier niet werden uitgebracht maar wel door bijv. Lex werden gedraaid in Parels voor de Zwijnen. We gingen dan elke week zoeken in de disco en hup.

Later in het CD tijdperk kwamen ze in de USA weer uit op verzamelaars.

En daar zitten niet onaardige nummers tussen. Neem de de Outsiders (USA) met "Time won't let me" ........

En obscuur .......... tja in Engeland waren er nogal wat "garage" bands en ook daar zitten mooie nummers tussen.

Dat doet bij mij dan meteen de vraag rijzen: Hoe zat destijds de relatie met Engeland in elkaar???
