I think this recording might be 1816-1828 as Henk Meeuwis normally presented his hour from 1800-1900 on 259. It may also be on 8th June 1973 as it is similar to the recording above with the tender arriving.

 

Recordings of the Dutch service in June 1973 are very rare so it’s good to get these airchecks. Thank you.

    Het lijkt erop dat de opname 8.6.73 1850-2000 ongeveer aansluit op 1915-1928; opname 1915-1928: na 3 minuten hoor ik zeggen, dacht ik toch, 18 minuten over 7u maar later in de opname is het alsof het nog 19u moet worden.

    The reason I wonder about this is the fact the Dutch newsreader (Henk Meeuwis) was normally on air live on 259. Normally this was on between 1800-1900 followed by classical music. Robin doesn’t mention the time on the 389 airchecks as far as I can hear.
